Our Client is an international renewable energy development platform focused on solar, wind and storage across Europe and the US. The Company is growing exponentially, and it needs exceptional people to deliver its business plan. Each member of its team will play a vital role and contribute to the Company’s overall success.

As part of it’s growth plan, it’s recruiting for a Development Operations Manager to oversee and manage renewable energy projects from site origination through to the ready-to-build phase.

Responsibilities

  • Engagement with key external and internal stakeholders in the full development process and management of the Ire/UK development team on all project matters relating to development including land, planning, grid connection and off-take arrangements.
  • Responsibility for ensuring clear, effective, and continuous communication on all IRE/UK development activities.
  • Report to the Executive Team on a regular basis including development strategy, project pipeline, project risks, investment/divestment risks, project cash flow management and preparation of budget proposals and ensuring the Executive Team are kept fully informed of any significant developments.
  • Driving and optimising each asset with respect to design, grid, planning, land etc through financial analysis and modelling of each project.

  • Provide knowledge and support to the development team across the full development cycle including the identification and assessment of new opportunities. site origination, energy yield analysis, project viability, grid connections, land agreement negotiations, commercial agreements, project design, planning process etc.

Desired Technical/Professional Competencies

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering, planning or agriculture, with specialisation in renewable energy or environment.

  • Proficiency in the use of GIS/AutoCad software is considered an advantage.

  • Solid analytical skills, strong adaptability, efficiency.
  • Project management skills.
  • Strong motivation to work in a complex environment; you are organized, open-minded and able to work independently; you can work on several projects in parallel.
  • Social skills, excellent oral and written expression.
  • Integrity, ethical standards, and sound judgement.
  • Intellectual curiosity, passion and self-motivation.
  • Full clean driving licence.
