Our Client is a Renewables Developer. They efficiently deliver large scale electricity generation, storage and conversion projects that reduce our dependency on fossil fuels.

They are currently developing offshore wind, solar, battery and hydrogen projects in Ireland, the UK, and Europe and are looking at other jurisdictions. They need to increase the size of our team to deliver this pipeline of projects and explore new opportunities. Role overview

They are currently seeking a Document Controller to join their team. As Document Controller you will provide business support in document version control, support of work processing and reporting and supporting the project teams. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious professional to do things the right way with the full support of the management team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate access and permission rights to the Document Management System for staff and external contractors.
  • Support, monitor and review suppliers and Contractor Documentation.
  • Undertake training sessions on Document Management Systems with staff and external contractors.
  • Administration of records, drawings and documents in accordance with the Quality Management System and other specifications.
  • Establish and maintain project registers.
  • Establish individual project document transmittals.
  • Coordinate the project Final File and coordinate final project archive.

Candidate requirements

  • An appropriate education with 3-5 years in relevant roles.
  • Experience in similar roles in renewables or other large infrastructure projects would be ideal but other applicable experiences may be just as valuable.
  • Expertise in Sharepoint with experience in document management and controls.
  • Working knowledge of Document Management Systems with particular emphasis placed on document control procedures.
  • Ability to interpret and present information in a logical and orderly manner.
  • Strong IT and administration skills.
  • Experience of ISO 9001 Quality Management.
  • Good inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to form effective working relationships with other individuals, departments and businesses.
